File manager side bar gone

I have the xfce thunar file manager 4.16.11-2
Normally, there is a side bar showing the favourites like pictures, videos, …
but mine kinda vanished.

In the file manager settings, theres a a thingy for the side bar, but you can only choos the size of the symbols there

How can I get it back?

Ctrl+B is the shortcut to enable or disable it. Can be also via Menu > View > Side Pane > Shortcuts
