Hey there! I’m new here and I saw some amazing screenshots of people’s desktops with a terminal or a terminal calendar embedded into their desktop (as in running permanently in the background) - it looks very useful!
Is there a way I could achieve this on Gnome or is it necessary to switch desktop environments to something else?
I got Calcurse calendar and it’s awesome but it disappears when I press the “show desktop” keyboard shortcut. Is there any way that I could just stick the terminal permanently into desktop?
