I am unable to add pictures of my screenshots in my posts I get “Sorry, you can’t embed media items in a post”

That is due to not having reached the required Trust Level yet.
Apparently, mine was the same, although I never even tried to upload a picture.
The more you are involved on the forum, the quicker your Trust Level rises.

You are a new user, and you’ve only made three posts so far. The forum engine works with trust levels, and you’re still at Trust Level 0. TL0s cannot embed pictures or links into their posts. This is a security precaution to prevent spam being posted on the forum.
