File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/libayatana-indicator-0.9.4-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)).

error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.
i previously answered with y..same result. how does this package get corrupted and how do i move passed this so i can upgrade? i don’t know what this indicator does. but i need to be able to upgrade my system

Try a search on the forum like invalid or corrupted package PGP signatur

I would issue this command:

sudo rm -rf /var/cache/pacman/pkg/*

@musdus you’re a genius! that worked . honestly i didn’t know where to look.. i went to that forum and the command that fixed my problem even though it was advised as only a last resort was;

sudo pacman -S manjaro-keyring archlinux-keyring --overwrite '/usr/share/pacman/keyrings/*'
