Maybe I am unpatient but thought to still write here.
Tried to open discord and it demand either to download a deb package or tar.gz. Discord doesn’t let to use it unless it is up to date
Thought to mess around with the contents of tar.gz but then again Discord update should be provided via the package manager.
Changed mirrors from Worldwide based on my location.
mine still hasnt updated. tried refreshing mirrors worldwide and then local to my country
Removed the solution mark , thought changing mirrors solved it for me.
Just made this account to let you know your solution actually worked for me. But I had to kill the discord updater instance running in the background first.
