Failed to start session

hello! so uh while trying to get my bluetooth manager working, I decided to reinstall bluetooth stuff using the package manager, but afterwards it still didn’t work so I just decided to restart my pc, (for some reason the apps in my start menu didn’t show), and now whenever I try to log in it says ‘‘failed to start session’’

what do I do?

and post some more information so we can see what’s really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…

  • An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information… (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
  • To get the above, switch to TTY2 by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F2, log in there, execute the inxi command above there while redirecting the output to a USB stick and post the contents of the file here.
  • If you’re incapable of doing the above, you’re in for a re-install after you read this and that first…
