Can't boot since system update .Failed to start Load Kernel Modules

Just installed Manjaro a few hours ago. Rebooted after installation to fix KDE issues due to config files in /home. Initiated a system update (and installed other applications), reboot prompt showed up. After reboot, error message displayed as follows:

[FAILED] Failed to start Load Kernel Modules
[FAILED] Failed to mount /boot
[DEPEND] Dependency failed for Local File Systems.

Tried chroot and other fixes on forum, unsure if I implemented fixes correctly. Currently using manjaro though liveboot. Let me know what info logs you guys need.

Thanks!

Hi @Greymonkey, and welcome!

Since you are already using a Live ISO environment you might need to check your drives for failure, or your filesystems for errors. But for that to happen, we need to know more about your drives and your system. To know more about giving us thee neccessary information, please see:

I’ve added logs I thought would be useful as per the forum post. Anything else I could add?

Yes, Please provide the output for:

lsblk --fs --all
fdisk --list

Lets see if someone can figure it out, seeing as I have to be off.

Never you mind that I don’t personally know.

I’ve added this to the original post too.

OK, I honestly see nothing.

BUT, as I’ve often pointed out, I’m no expert and, sadly, we’ll have to hope someone more knowledgeable than I comes to the rescue.
