Interesting. Editing fstab is definitely a feature of the KDE partition manager, at least for some cases. I suggest submitting this as a bug report

Another clue: the gap is exactly the defined timeout, assuming the timeout on yours is the same as mine:

systemctl show "run-credentials-systemd\x2dtmpfiles\x2dsetup.service.mount"

So this has been a timeout for trying to mount a swap partition from fstab that no longer existed.
