Hello. I had a newly installed Gnome Manjaro with proprietary drivers installed on amd + nvidia laptop.
When I connected external display it was black, though i could see it with xrandr, also xrandr --listproviders
showed 2 providers. I read that I need to enable my nvidia gpu with optimus manager, so I installed optimus-manager, optimus-manager-qt
and switched to x11 from wayland.
After reboot gdm doesnt boot with first attempt anymore, but it boots after switching to another tty and backwards. Also xrandr only shows 1 display and 1 provider now.
Also nvidia-settings
output is:
ERROR: Unable to load info from any available system
andoptimus-manager-qt
output is:
Unable to detect GPU
zsh: abort (core dumped) optimus-manager-qt
So I cant use optimus-manager to switch to nvidia gpu

Appreciate any help! And thank you in advance!
UPD1:
Okay, all I had to do is install optimus-manager-qt-git and optimus-manager-git in order to work with amd igpu, then i switched gpu with optimus manager and now it works. But gdm problem is still here
