External Monitor works randomly

Hi,

I am using an ACER ED270UP external monitor. The monitor works unreliably, sometimes it works on the first try, but generally I have to unplug and plug until it works. It is always detected, but it doesn’t show any signal. When it works, it never stops working until I set my computer to sleep or turn it off.

Here is my xrandr output:

Something I forgot to add. I tried to monitor on another computer (running Windows 10) and different cables, and it works without problem.

Maybe the problem is plasma related:

rename the folder kscreen to kscreen.bak in ~/.local/share and reboot
