Hello everyone,
I bought an adaptor usb to hdmi to connect other monitor but it seen i need to install the drivers. i was doing this guide step by step. but i got stuck when i do
xrandr --setprovideroutputsource 1 0
it’s supposed to work at this point and i could see the other monitor but instead i’m getting this output.
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 140 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request: 35 (RRSetProviderOutputSource)
Value in failed request: 0x23f
Serial number of failed request: 16
Current serial number in output stream: 17
I’m on manjaro KDE/Plasma with the kernel 5.8.18-1
