I’m on a fully updated Gnome install.
In the logs I get this error every 5 seconds
Error connecting to Touchégg daemon: Could not connect: Connection refused
I’m not on a laptop so don’t need any touch gestures

You can remove it with pacman -Rcsu touchegg
or disable with with systemctl disable --now touchegg
And you are probably running the client somewhere. Did you modify your ~/.xprofile
file? If so, remove the call to touchegg
(from Touchegg - ArchWiki)
I have run both
systemctl disable --now touchegg
and
pacman -Rcsu touchegg
But I still get the same error every 5 second
I have not modified my ~/.xprofile file
Rebooted the computer and now the error is gone.
