Energy saver not working on rockpro64 via NVME

I have two new installs of manjaro on my new rp64 boards. One via emmc and another on NVME. The one that boots to NVME has issues with energy saver. The monitor will just never turn off. Works great when booting from Emmc. I have tested both boards on the same monitor. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Is there an alternative to a screensaver I could try?

Depending on the desktop you are on there might be an option to turn off any (external) display after a certain amount of idling…

I’ve got KDE. I found an app called XScreensaver though it appears to have really slow responsiveness.

::GUI is slow but daemon works great.
