I installed wayland and know how to select it in the login screen, but not how to enable it automatic instead of x11.
I use auto login so everyday i need to logout and select wayland manually and login again.
i use wayland for waydroid.
You don’t need to do it. Your login manager should remember last choice.
You can set it to always use wayland under Login Screen in Kde system settings. Look in the bottom for Behaviour. Then go to Automatically login
