Unable to boot live system from USB: Out of range pointer

Since a couple of months (unfortunately don’t remember the version it started with) booting a live USB system ends with following message “out of range pointer 0x1000”. Searched the web for similar issues without luck. No problems to boot other distros. Any ideas how I can track down the root cause of this issue ?

Editions: KDE, Gnome and XFCE
Running on a ZOTAC CI662 Nano with Windows and 2 Linux distros multiboot.

Thank you !

flash the iso with ventoy and try again

The error message continues to show but the system gets past it and boots the ISO. Thank you very much, brahma!
