Slow Wi-Fi speed of Intel Alder Lake-S PCH CNVi in KDE

My manjaro has a wired Internet connection with 1Gbit/s, while the Wi-Fi (hotspot) speed is only about 26 Mbit/s.

The output of inxi -N:

Network:
Device-1: Intel Alder Lake-S PCH CNVi WiFi driver: iwlwifi
Device-2: Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet
    driver: r8168

I found a smilar post at Slow wifi using Manjaro with Intel Alder Lake-P PCH CNVi WiFi, but no solution is provided.

Hi @gigi314,

I don’t know what the problem is, or even if there is one since WiFi is know for being (much) slower and less reliable than wired. Distance from the wireless access point also makes a huge difference, the greater the distance, the slower the WiFi.

(That’s why I still use and love my wired connection, and my computer is less than a metre from my access point. It Just Works. And beautifully at that.)

Out of curiosity, is that throughput evident while on battery or mains power? → assuming it’s a laptop.
