Manjaro 17 (single-boot system) works like a dream on this Asus laptop model X71Q (made in 2008): no problems to date so far - everything just works! Boot-up time is 28 seconds, assuming you hit ‘enter’ at the grubscreen. Manjaro functions better on this machine than any other distro I’ve tried and better than Windows 7. I’ve had no problems to date …

Manjaro 17 (single-boot system) runs so well on this little 10" Samsung NP-N145-JP04UK netbook, you would never guess it was a machine with only a single-core CPU, e.g. boot-up time is only 25 seconds, assuming you hit ‘enter’ at the grub-screen. No other operating system that I’ve tried to date (and I’ve tried several) comes close to Manjaro’s performance on this little machine.
