Hello can i get some help with my dualschock 2 controller i am using some chinese adapter on USB. Controller isin’t recognized by retroarch but analog light on controller is on.

Anyway, yes, you can. The particular adapter I have which works is shown using lsusb:
ID 0810:0001 Personal Communication Systems, Inc. Dual PSX Adaptor
It also didn’t cost me that much either. So if you already have some of those adapters knocking about you can purpose them with most systems using the Linux kernel, but depending on what model or which firmware had been flashed on such devices it’s probably going to be hit-and-miss.
The caveat I’ve encountered with my particular adapter is that Open Joystick Display from AUR won’t recognize it, but in-game it is recognized and usable.
