Hello
I have a dual monitor setup and I’ve installed Windows on my HDD. I decided to try linux so manjaro is my first linux (installed on my SSD). However, the dual monitor setup won’t work on manjaro. It works on Windows fine. I’ve installed Manjaro GNOME. I went to hardware config and clicked on Auto-install proprietary drivers and rebooted, still nothing. What should I do? I’m very new to linux.
My primary 1080p monitor is connected via HDMI to my GTX 1050Ti mini and my secondary 720p monitor (very old) is connected via VGA to my Intel HD 630 graphics because my GTX has only one HDMI output.
Thanks for replying @Fabby ! I will follow the posting guidelines henceforth.
One more thing, when I booted manjaro today, it booted using only the secondary monitor (720p) and the primary (1080p) is now blank. I didn’t install/update anything yesterday afaik, so I don’t know what caused this switch.
To answer your question, the VGA is connected directly to the CPU without using any adapter. There’s a VGA slot available on both the monitor and the CPU.
And here’s the command output:
