Dropped into rescue mode, when trying to exit, it says “grub_debug_malloc” not found

My bad, I mixed up the commands.

This the the output of cat /etc/fstab

#
# /etc/fstab: static file system information

# <file system> <dir> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
/dev/mapper/root-image / auto defaults 0 0

and this is what sudo blkid yields me:

why do you use sudo? doesnt it work without it?

Its the same result with or without, both works

ok, so now reinstall grub:

ok it worked so now run the reinstall command again:

grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=manjaro --recheck

post output here

This is the output:

~ grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=manjaro --recheck
Installing for x86_64-efi platform.
Installation finished. No error reported.

ok it worked now…
so run this:
mkinitcpio -P
update-grub

It was successful!

so type exit and reboot and hopefully you will be able to boot

Thanks, I am able to log into my manjaro account again!

One more question, when booting up, I dont get the boot manager anymore, thus I cant choose to boot into my windows partition, is there a way to restore this?
