Don't recognize usb

Hi, my laptop don’t recognize a usb hard drive, don’t view it on the file manager or whit fdisk. Any suggestion ?. Thanks

Test it on another machine, other USB port. Is another external HDD recognized on the same port?

Check if it’s been seen by the system.

lsusb

It sould show up.
