Dolphin sorts /home/<user> differently from other directories

When in “Details” mode, Dolphin sorts most directories as I want Subdirectories first then files, each subset sorted by alphabetical order or date as requested.

In my home directory, however, the sort is subdivided by days or by initial letter as seen here:

Is there a setting that I’ve accidentally set (or overlooked) to show $HOME in exactly the same way as other directories? (i.e.

)

In the dolphin Settings menu, choose “Configure Dolphin”. Then… :backhand_index_pointing_down:

I think you want to click on the hamburger, select More, select View, and un-check the Show in Groups menu option.

Hamburger???

OK, not needed as “View” is always displayed.

Was able to achieve the desired result with both suggestions, but
I think this is the better as it allows for using different display options when needed.

The hamburger menu icon.
hamburger

Haha well that’s not needed either (I don’t have any Hamburglers in there…) so you can just hit F10 (universal - so no hamburger icon needed) and Alt_M toggles the traditional menu bar to keep it tidy, best of both worlds.

On the toolbar visible are icons you don’t need (like ‘split’ which is just F3) and missing is one you could use (Adjust view style) which is good for fine tuning if you don’t have a universal view for all folders.

I thought Dolphin also unified the view ‘buttons’ you have there into one… so I’m guessing this is ‘Stable’.
