Bluetooth not working in Manjaro on Asus FX505DD

Manjaro 22.1.0 Plasma 5.27.4 Kernel 6.2.10-1-MANJARO (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

I have a small problem but it’s very annoying, i’m using Asus TUF FX505DD Laptop with dual boot Windows 11 and Manjaro. I have a bluetooth problem in Manjaro where I can’t enable it in settings even though my bluetooth hardware is detected. I didn’t find any similar problem on windows and previously I was using ubuntu and zorin os but bluetooth was working normally.

Here I attach information related to my problem, if something is not clear, please tell me. Thanks.

Could be a regression in 6.2, though no report in bugzilla so far. Please try 6.1 and 5.15 as both are LTS and Ubuntu/Zorin is likely to use it.

I’ve installed kernel 5.15 but still bluetooth doesn’t work. I’m still can’t enable it.

From linux-harware.org its not in the state of ‘working’:

It doesn’t list the latest dist releases though

Thanks for the information. It’s still possible to fix bluetooth on Manjaro ?

Possibility is always there, but without you reporting, perhaps nobody is working on fixing it. This is upstream bug, so not really Manjaro problem IMHO. Report your bug to bugzilla.kernel.org.

EDIT: Actually found a kinda abandoned report for this, with patch for older kernel attached. No idea if this can be added to Manjaro, though. Will require changes for sure.
