Trash icon is enabled in Extensions → Dash to Dock → Launchers → Trash. When I click on the Trash icon though it launches VLC. What gives?
Default applications:
Changing
inode/directory=vlc.desktop
to
inode/directory=org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop
in ~/.config/mimeapps.list solved it
