Displays Do Not Orient Properly

When I place my BenQ monitor on the right so that the Samsung is on the left and hit apply all the active windows and taskbar/etc go to the Samsung display despite the fact that I have the BenQ display set as the primary display.

I don’t know if this is normal or what but I’d very much like to have my BenQ display to have all the active windows and taskbar stuff on it rather than on my Samsung display. Since my Samsung display also is to the left of the BenQ display in real life.

Any help is appreciated.

Drag the monitors to arrange them.

If that don’t work - go old-school and flip the connection cables.

I figured it out.

Under Xfce panel, make sure that Output is set to Primary [display].
