Display Driver not working properly

#1

My Video Drivers are not working properly. I’m running Deepin Desktop on top of Manjaro. I have binded some keyboard keys to some xrandr commands for rotate screens. The xrandr --output eDP-1 --rotate normal command doesn’t work anymore because eDP-1 changed to something else.

If I connect an external display, nothing happens. My monitor acts as if it’s not connected to any source.
But it works fine on windows.

The Deepin Displa settings does not show any second monitor. I don’t know what’s happening. Is there a way to reinstall the display adapter and make it work?

Please help me fix this issue.

Thank you

That’s not unusual even not frequently.
Use MSM to reinstall your video drivers.
If it still has problems, post system info and logs.
IMHO you should recreate your xrandr shortcuts after major system changes, confirming display names.

inxi -SMGxxxz
mhwd -li
cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/*.conf
xrandr

Hey. Thanks for the response! I checked MSM but couldn’t figure out how to re-install the display driver from there. Could you help me with that?

Thanks.

I can point to the right direction. Dpending on your video card, auto install Open Source (Intel, AMD) or Proprietary (Nvidia)
