Display Configuration Not Being Remembered

After the latest update, I am having an issue that after rebooting the display is going to the max resolution. Even after resetting it, it fails to remember it after the reboot. Any ideas how can I fix it?

more info is needed if you want a helpful response.

try deleting
/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xml

and reboot

I did.. but still same..

what are you using to set the layout? arandr?

settings/display

I tried with arandr but it's same, it doesn't any effect

Hey,

I got the same problem. Deleted the displays.xml file and it's resetting after restart.

I also tried to lock the variables (Primary boolean) in the Settings Editor of XFCE, but it didn't help.

in xfce monitor/screen settings, create a new profile, make changes and save if there's the option (i have not used xfce in a while).

Yes, Display/Advanced.. Profile was the solution.. I found it but I forget the write here..
