Disable shadow in/on kwin

Is there an option to disable the shadow of kwin?

Well, there are two ways to go about that.

  • The most elegant way is to install a window decoration without shadows, the likes of which you can find at store.kde.org.

  • The crude way is to disable the compositor, but then you’ll have to miss out on all other effects as well, such as translucency.

we have a setting in decorators → Breeze, we have a hidden icon/btn at bottom right in all images
open a dialog (diff for all decorator)
Tag shadows : size… power et color

For styles (Brise,…) : same hidden button :wink:
