Difficulty Gaming

Hello, i’am a new Linux user,
I’ve tested ubuntu and debian and Manjaro some days, and i decided to keep Manjaro in my computer, i liked this distribution.
what bothers me is that I can’t play league of legends in this distribution as in the others, (the performance of the game is very lower compared to Windows and ubuntu).
No solution or guide to offer? (I am a Linux newbie).
Thanks :’)))

What hardware are you using?

In order for the people here help you, I recommend you open a terminal and post out inxi -Fazzy like described here How to provide good information

That will give us the specs of your machine. This will also teach you how to wrap terminal output in code here.

Welcome @TFate,
Leage of Legends? Wow! How do you play? In a virtual box?
Intel is not really the best gamers have to cope with. I suspect you are using the Nouveau drivers. I did’nt read the whole thing…sorry…
Let’s go one step at a time, here.
The GPU is an Intel. Okay.
Let’s start there…
Again, super welcome here. We’re glad to have you around.
Melissa

what do you recommend me to do?

How do you play LOL? Wine, Virtual Box,Lutris?

If you aren’t already, you should be playing League of Legends via Lutris

I got it by :
Sudo snap install leagueoflegends --edge --devmode
isn’t a good idea ?

Nope. Definitely would use the Lutris version over that 100% myself. Lets you use DXVK & esync as well for better frame rates.
