Issue Description

Steps to Reproduce Issue
- Boot up system and log in.
- Open Desktop Settings and go to the Desktop Icons tab and change the font size and change back to cause the Desktop Icon names to appear.
- Log Out or Reboot, Log back in and Desktop Icons again not showing the text under them.
Expected Behavior

In xfdesktop-settings → desktop icons → appearance → font size I unchecked then checked the font size option and set the font size to 10 then 12 again. It worked but did not survive a logout / login.
Otherwise, if font size box (in xfdesktop-settings) is unchecked then no issue, text under icons is showing up, including after logout / login.Brian Tarricone closed with commit 81bea4a0 2 days ago
Issue should be resolved when next version of xfdesktop
released
Increasing the font size automatically solved the problem, now they look like always, I will continue searching in case there is something else and for now I will put “there are no problems in updating” greetings manjaro team.
gracias
mucho gracias for reporting this and confirming that changing font size settings works
I do not use desktop icons on my system so I would not have noticed this
but this information could help many other XFCE users with a similar issue
