Derped kernel Boot Params

Added amdcpu to kernel Boot parameters, now Linux doesn’t start anymore and gets stuck at nvme0n1p2: clean… Files… Blocks

Is there a way to undo this?

Boot up and stop at the grub boot menu. Edit the boot entry and remove the parameter. Then continue to boot. That is temporary. You have to undo it, like you applied it.

Since I installed it, it doesn’t pass the grub menu. Is there a way to force it?

Boot up from the live USB, chroot into your installed system, edit its /etc/default/grub and then run…

update-grub

I hadnt known that was possible, this will be useful in the future. Thanks

Do the reverse of what you did to begin with?

I’ve unmarked the solution because you just created a new topic and apparently haven’t solved anything:

I’m also going to close and unlist (hide) this post in favor of that one. Thank you for posting more information there. :+1:
