Dell XPS 9570 - usb-c monitor screen black after update

After update my external monitor screen stays black. Laptop screen is ok.

usb-c cable is used to connect Dell XPS to monitor.

there is no nvidia driver installed on your system: sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300

Yeah, did not install nvidia driver as I have been able to get by with Intel gpu as I want to have longer battery life. This setup has worked before.

(troubleshooting continues next year…)

Latest update fixed this issue. Now my external monitor shows picture.

Kernel was changed from Kernel: 5.9.16-1-MANJARO to Kernel: 5.10.2-2-MANJARO
Or maybe it was something else?
