Dell Inspiron 3847 randomly revs fans full speed until a proper reboot *sometimes multiple times

I have been having this issue for a while now and basically out of nowhere the desktop fans rev up max speed until I reboot properly multiple times. I am running KDE 5.15.5 and kernel 5.0.21-1 was running 5.1.8-1 but downgraded thinking that was the issue but it still happens. Is there a fix for this? its really annoying because it usually happens at night and wakes me up. I can provide any other information needed because I am home and have the pc booted up. Thank you!

Operating System: Manjaro 18.0.4 Illyria
KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.59.0
Qt Version: 5.12.3
Kernel Version: 5.0.18-1-MANJARO
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Memory: 7.7 GiB of RAM

Install and run lm_sensors as follows:

sudo pacman -S lm_sensors && sudo sensors-detect

Say yes to everything (it should not lock up but some scans take longer than others) and allow it to save the updated configuration, then restart the notebook.

If the problem persists try a different kernel. If you are running 5.1 try 4.19 for example.
