Deja Dup crashes when opening preferences in Plasma on Wayland

I tried using Deja Dup. I have tried using this software many years ago, so there must still be some configuration files in my home directory with a backup location saved, but I haven’t used it in many years. When I open Deja Dup now, it sometimes starts with a warning that the current backup directory is no longer available.

When I try to access the “Preferences” in Deja Dup, the program immediately crashes. Here is the terminal output on crashing:

(org.gnome.DejaDup:10763): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 17:03:36.971: The schema default value for key 'backend' in schema 'org.gnome.DejaDup' was rejected by the binding mapping function.
