Using wifi and hotspot at same time

Hi,

So I’m trying to use WiFi and hotspot at the same time. I went through archwifi software access point .

Using iw list, I found my WiFi does support AP mode but doesn’t support interface combination. I tried using ‘linux-wifi-hotspot’, and it says “ERROR: Your adapter cannot be a station (i.e., be connected) and an AP at the same time”.

But in the same laptop, in Windows, I’m able to use WiFi and hotspot at the same time. Is there some setting to be enabled or any other software installed to do this?

Perhaps try linux-wifi-hotspot available in the AUR (Arch User Repository).

I did try using that, but it also gave this error “ERROR: Your adapter cannot be a station (i.e., be connected) and an AP at the same time”.
But the same adapter, in windows im able to use wifi and hotspot at same time.
