Curseforge instance causing powerdevil issues after an update

Welcome to the Manjaro community @Halfheight

As a new or infrequent forum user, please take some time to familiarise yourself with Forum requirements, and the many ways to use the forum to your benefit:

Update Announcements

The Update Announcements contain important information and a Known Issues and Solutions section that should generally be checked before posting a request for support.

System Information

Output of the inxi command (with appropriate parameters, and formatted according to forum guidelines) will generate information useful for those wishing to help:

inxi --filter --verbosity=8

or the short form (preferred):

inxi -zv8

Any code or command output (such as inxi output) should be placed within a scrollable pre-formatted text enclosure according to forum guidelines.

See here for instructions :point_down:

[Mini How-To] format code or command output

Select and copy all the text in the Terminal window (minus the prompt, if you are using zsh).

Then paste the output in between two lines containing three backticks:
```
or three tildes:
~~~

Or:

Copy & paste, then highlight the pasted text and click the </> button at the top of the reply window (easier for smaller outputs).

Also, (and please note that I am not gamer), I did a quick search for the curseforge package and saw that it is only available from the AUR, and there are a couple of versions available: AUR (en) - curseforge & AUR (en) - curseforge-appimage. Could you please confirm which version you have installed on your system by providing the output of the following command:

pamac search -i curseforge

Importantly too, if you installed curseforge via the AUR, did you remember to rebuild the package on your system after any system updates you have done?

pamac build curseforge

System updates usually update system libraries, and any AUR packages relying on those libraries need to be rebuilt for them to run correctly (or at all).

Finally, I see that your profile says you are on Stable branch. As AUR packages are built against Arch Linux, it is strongly recommended that Manjaro users wishing to utilise the AUR should switch to Unstable branch which is more closely aligned with Arch’s current package versions than Stable branch.
