CUPS issue on new KDE minimal installation

Hi folks,
I set up a used pc with a minimal KDE installation and now I have problems getting CUPS to work. I installed cups and manjaro-printer but I can’t reach localhost 631. Terminal outputs, that cupsd.service does not exist. Tried reinstalling CUPS, but no change.
I am kinda lost now. Can you help?
Best regards!

Hi!

Have you enabled the cups service as mentioned in the ArchWiki?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/CUPS

Then enable and start cups.service or alternatively use socket activation to only start CUPS when a program wants to use the service.

sudo systemctl enable cups.service
sudo systemctl start cups.service

Thanx, that was the problem!
