Cross-platform file transfer solution?

I have used “Sendanywhere” for few years now- it transfers files for me across systems ( android, Debian-based distros, Windows, iPad ). Now that I am trying to use arch based distros, the application crashes often and is unusable.

  1. I am a noob, and don’t know what this means or how can I rectify this on my own. Please suggest a way out, if any.
  2. If not, can you suggest a reliable file transfer alternative ( not browser based please ). I have heard Feem is good ( but it crashes without notice as well ), but would be happier if there are any other options.

It’s apparently a different problem than you thought - not with the App, but with your Desktop Environment.
This needs to be addressed - the App is probably fine …

Someone else may know what to do - I don’t - and will not be here for some time anyway.
All the best!

Oh… I have used KDE on Manjaro as well as Garuda with the same result. If someone confirms, could probably change the DE :crossed_fingers:

I do not think has something to do with the DE.
Use --no-sandbox when you start the app …

I usually just use kdeconnect for some quick small file transferring(also I use syncthing, samba, ftp, scp), right click file, send → device, done

It is a good option actually. But iPad does not have KDEconnect…So, forced to look for alternatives

There seems to some beta version of kdeconnect for iphone and ipad from my search,

dont know much about it

OMG! I absolutely didn’t know this. And now, I can confirm that this works for the moment (it is still under development). Thank you so much
