Crashing Games on an AMD 4800H (one is Nebuchadnezzar)

At least one Game is running without crashing: Factorio.

And some are Crashing after some time In game I have not exactly watched at the Clock. It may be like 20 Minutes into the Game (Nebuchadnezzar) and then it crashes with at first a short freeze like 2 Seconds and than i am back to the Desktop (Gnome in Wayland mode)

shortly before the Game is Crashing there are no Graphical Glitches or something like that. It looks perfectly fine.

Also the Temperatures of the APU is well within good regions ~40/50°C (this Game is not a very Heavy workload.

At the same Time Discord and Spotify are crashing which where running in the Background

Some Info’s about the Hardware:

Type of Machine: a Laptop
Model: TUXEDO Pulse 15 – Gen1
Display : Full-HD (1920 x 1080) , but i am using an external Monitor with 2560 x 1440 and 60Hz
RAM: 16 GB (1x 16GB) 3200Mhz CL22 Samsung + 16 GB (1x 16GB) 3200Mhz CL22 Samsung
CPU/APU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H (8x 2.9-4.2GHz Eight-Core, 16 Threads, 12 MB Cache, 45 W TDP)
hard drive M.2 SSD: 1000 GB Samsung 860 EVO (M.2 SATAIII)
WLAN & Bluetooth: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 & Bluetooth 5.1 (up to 2400Mbps)
Graphics: the APU has some Vega Cores

Systemd has created 3 core dumps:

I have uploaded them into a Link-shared Google Drive Folder:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vUSXqsH-gdqZhBUyrvVHdTsefqhv-2RT?usp=sharing
The 3 Files are ~54,4MB Total

Do they Help to find the cause for This Crash?
I would be happy to find some kind of Help or Info.

In this Week i testet The game on my PC which also has Manjaro Installed, it has a Radeon 5700 and had the samy Symptom with that Game. Because of that i tested to run the Windows Version with Proton → that ran just fine without hickups.

So maybe it is an opengl or a Game eroor. i don’t know :frowning:
but i am glad i can play it.

So would it be the best way to just file a Bugreport directly for the Game-Dev’s?

I will tomorrow follow some more Points of the good Information Guide
Test if i can get some Terminal output from steam (hoping the terminal itself stays open while steam will crash.)
Also looking in to the journal.

  1. Please read this:
    How to provide good information
and press the three dots below your post and press the :pencil2: to give us more information so we can see what’s really going on.
Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…
  2. An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information for us to be able to help you. (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
Also, please copy-paste that output in-between 3 backticks ``` at the beginning and end of the code/text.
