tried to install arch on a newly build pc but it didnt boot on multiple install attempts so I tried manjaro as there is less possibility for human error involved.

got a long error message on install which started with the line in the title and ended in
kernel panic - not syncing

could it have something to do with the fact that i have a ryzen 7 7700x installed?

you have to use kernel 6.0 or more ,
you cant install with iso Stable ( 5.15 LTS ) for Zen4 architecture
( motherboard and CPU )

check for unstable announce and latest iso build

@philm , linux6.0 should be released this week
