Unsupported or hard to use resolutions

I have an nvidia gt 440.
With open source drivers on a login screen my monitor says “unsupported resolution” and doesn’t show anyting else. I tried to add xrandr commands to .bashrc and created script in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/ but it only works on loading screen after login, when kde is loaded, it’s again an unsupported resolution.
With proprietary drivers nvidia-settings only allow me to use very uncomfortable resolutions with different aspect ratio.
Is there any way to force plasma not to change resolutions or make nvidia driver to use different resolution?

Hi @Venin,

I believe this is wwhat5 you’re looking for:

Specifically the section * Permanently adding undetected resolutions*

Hope this helps!
