Computer doesn't go to sleep. It shuts down

I set my computer to go to sleep after x minutes of inactivity. And this has worked well for me all the years I’ve been using Manjaro.

But on a fresh install on a new system, instead of going to sleep, the computer shuts down completely.

Is there something I’m doing wrong? I’m just going to Plasma Settings → Power Management, and telling it to go to sleep after x minutes.

Can someone please help me?

This is probably connected to a couple of other bugs to do with power management. With recent Plasma updates some system are having suspend checked when the enduser had it unchecked. On some dim screen is getting checked even though the enduser had it unchecked.
