Nice, I don’t know why it wouldn’t work with mhwd-kernel
in chroot
. Maybe it is a sign that other packages are broken (like the MHWD database). Maybe you could try from your now working system to retry a mhwd-kernel
installation of another LTS kernel like linux510
to see if it is solved now (and if it works, reboot and remove the kernels you don’t want from System Settings → Kernel).
