What to consider for dual monitor setup? (XPS 15 Laptop --> 2 external monitors)

Good evening!

I want to buy two monitors to use with my Dell XPS 15 and I’m wondering if a dual monitor setup will be working flawlessly with my device and KDE Plasma. Is there anything to keep in mind before buying?

I won’t need the laptop screen when the two monitors are active/connected - if that should be relevant.

Even with the lid open it would not be a problem.
One monitor on HDMI one on TB should work or even with 2 USB-C monitors if your laptop supports display over usb.
