clementine: error while loading shared libraries: libprotobuf.so.31: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
You’ll need to rebuild it when there are major protobuf releases to link to the new library version.
Tried that, ends with:

Hello @artivision,
if you have no success in rebuilding ‘clementine’ I would recommend to take a look on ‘Strawberry Music Player’ which is in the repos.
Clementine is dicontinued since 2016 and strawberry a continued fork of clememtine.
