Citrix Workspace App Linuxarmhf on Raspberry 4

Hello Manjaro Forum,

I'm running

OS: Manjaro-ARM 19.10
Kernel: aarch64 Linux 4.19.83-1-MANJARO-ARM
on my raspberry pi 4

SoC: Broadcom BCM2711B0 quad-core A72 (ARMv8-A) 64-bit @ 1.5GHz

The system runs very smooth. But I need to get the citrix workspace app running.

So I'm downloading the tarball from citrix

Citrix Workspace app for Linux (ARM HF)

and run the installer. Same procedure as on raspbian. (Raspbian install works fine)

But on manjaro I always get the message:

./setupwfc

This package does not contain a version of Citrix Workspace for this workstation.

Same for the icaclient. Same for the aur packages.

I've read a bit in the install script and it seems to me that there is just the wrong information from uname?! Which is just Linux in my case.

Does anyone have the same issue?

Regards

Michael

That's because Manjaro ARM is not armhf based, but rather arm64 based.
So you would need to find a binary that is compiled for arm64/aarch64 for it to work in Manjaro ARM.

But since those are commercial software and they specifically target the Raspberry Pi Rasbian OS, I don't think they will produce a arm64 binary.
