Hi members, I have searched for an answer to this but cannot seem to find anything about it. When cinnamon desktop loads straight after login, there is a very short bright white flash as it loads the wallpaper. This flash is somewhat like a camera flash going off and does cause me eye fatigue sometimes. Do other users experience this or could this perhaps be an issue with my video drivers?
Better to start with hardware/drivers information:
from terminal. Copy that text and paste it here. Use ``` above and bellow for proper formatting.
it's a bug related to all adapta - themes. It is not present on other themes.
not sure though if it needs to be fixed in the themes or in cinnamon.
Thanks, here's my hardware info.

Thanks, I suspected it might be. I would say it should be fixed as a matter of priority. A person who suffers from epilepsy could go into a fit from something like this. As for me I suffer from migraines which are triggered by bright flashes of light.
I would say the theme since it is the only theme I know that does that.
But Adapta is pretty much a dead project nowadays, so I see little hope for a fix.
That's actually a very good point.
I don't use Adapta on Cinnamon install, but any particular reason of using the legacy nvidia-390xx driver for that GTX 1060 ?
