Cinnamon Lock screen will not allow keyboard password

I could not find a Cinnamon specific area for this. Please feel free to move.

After recent updates, the lock screen for Cinnamon will not allow the physical keyboard to gain access 99% of the time. It appears to not like either [Enter] key. Switching keyboards does not change a thing. If I type the password and click on the unlock button it works 100% of the time. If I bring up the virtual keyboard and painfully click through, the return key works on it.
