I posted this in an xfce group on FB . Posting here as well. You are probably ok installing 4.16. I created a problem when after I had installed double commander, I then made it the preferred file manager. You can do this in 4.14. But 4.16 removes that option. Grrr. This left me with folders not opening because 4.16 could not find Double Commander. It totally broke folder. So, I rolled it back. You have been warned.
Yes. It is installed. I like it. But it was not set to be the preferred default file manager.
