Change the command flags for a XFCE starter

Hi guys!

My PC seems to have this problem with spotify: Spotify - ArchWiki

Now I need to always start spotify with the command flags -no-zygote trough the terminal, which is tedious. Can I bind the command to the spotify starter in the xfce taskbar?

Cheers

I don’t have spotify but normally you would copy the launcher from /usr/share/applications/.desktop to /home/$USER/.local/share/applications/

The edit the file /home/$USER/.local/share/applications/.desktop and add the flag to the end of the Exec line

Do I need to restart for this? Also should the .desktop file from /usr be deleted?

If you mean a launcher for it you put in a panel, then yes.

If you mean the launcher in the application menu, then also yes: you can do so with menulibre.

It works now. I had to remove the %U from the command flags, as well as re-add the starter to the taskbar.

I also just found out that you can do exactly that what I wanted to achieve by right-clícking on the program in the application menu and clicking on “edit”.

Anyways, thank you very much!
